Chuck Norris' devoted fans have created a touching makeshift memorial at his Hollywood Walk of Fame star following the action legend's death at age 86.
Us Weekly exclusively obtained a photo of the tribute on Hollywood Boulevard, featuring multiple bouquets of flowers alongside a miniature replica Academy Award. Norris received his star in December 1989 in recognition of his enduring contributions to the film industry.
The martial artist and actor's family confirmed his passing on Friday, March 21, following a medical emergency in Hawaii. While the cause of death has not been disclosed, his family shared that he was surrounded by loved ones and at peace.
In an emotional Instagram tribute, Norris' family wrote, "To the world, he was a martial artist, actor and a symbol of strength. To us, he was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, an incredible brother and the heart of our family."
Norris' six-decade career cemented his status as a Hollywood icon. He starred in classic action films including Missing in Action, The Delta Force, and The Expendables 2. In the 1990s, he became a household name through the hit Western television series Walker, Texas Ranger, which ran for over 200 episodes.
His twin children, Dakota and Danilee Norris, 24, shared heartfelt tributes honoring their father. Dakota described him as a man of "generosity, kindness, courage, integrity, strength, discipline, and faith," while Danilee recalled him as her protector with a "heart so full of love."
Granddaughter Greta Norris remembered the action star's humility, noting, "In a room full of people he would make it known that he was listening to you and only you. He made everyone he met feel like a friend."
Fans continue to honor Norris' legacy at his Walk of Fame star as Hollywood mourns the loss of a true icon.
