Chelsea Handler has finally moved into the Los Angeles home she purchased from Robert F. Kennedy Jr. four years ago—and she's blaming the property for a series of unexpected health issues.
The comedian appeared on Tuesday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where she gave an update on the infamous property she bought through a blind trust, initially unaware of its previous owner.
Handler revealed the renovation process stretched over four years due to extensive problems with the home, including issues that weren't caught during the initial inspection. She finally moved in just one day before her late-night appearance.
The Chelsea Lately alum didn't hold back when joking about the property's impact on her well-being.
"I mean, I have chlamydia, herpes and what else does he have? Oh, measles. I have chlamydia, measles and herpes. But no, it's okay now," she quipped.
Handler previously discussed the home's troubles on her "Dear Chelsea" podcast, describing the property as a "disaster" with foundation issues that made it unlivable for two years. She also discovered an illegally constructed outdoor storage unit on the grounds that required removal.
Upon learning of the sale, Kennedy's wife Cheryl Hines sent Handler a gracious note offering assistance. Handler recalled her reaction: "I'm like, yeah, how about a f------ foundation. That's something you could do for me."
Despite the frustrations, Handler maintained her signature comedic tone, adding, "Anyway, I'm not angry about it or anything. I'm totally over it."
