Rebel Wilson has spoken publicly about her ongoing legal dispute connected to her film The Deb, stating on social media that she “won’t be silenced” and is prepared to present her account in court.

The actress and filmmaker posted a series of statements on Instagram on March 17, addressing the escalating situation involving producers of the project and billionaire Sir Len Blavatnik. She described the film as her “passion” and directorial debut, and indicated that mounting public and media attention prompted her to respond sooner than planned.

“Regarding the lawsuits and drama associated with my film THE DEB … well there’s a lot to say!” she wrote. Wilson added that she had intended to remain quiet until testifying, but said an “absolute bombardment” from “heavily paid crisis PR firms” made silence difficult.

In further posts, she reiterated earlier claims of “dodgy behavior” linked to individuals involved in the production and suggested that “very powerful people” may be attempting to suppress her. She also directed comments towards Blavatnik, urging him to address the situation while affirming her readiness to testify.

Her comments come amid ongoing legal proceedings involving producers Amanda Ghost, Gregor Cameron and Vince Holden, who have filed a defamation lawsuit against Wilson in the United States. The dispute initially arose from creative and business disagreements, including issues over writing credit, before escalating into litigation.

Court filings have also referenced transcripts of alleged audio recordings and discussions involving public relations strategies. Reports claim these materials relate to broader allegations of coordinated messaging, which have been disputed by those involved.

Wilson’s legal representatives have maintained that she denies involvement in any alleged smear campaign and intends to defend her position in court. The matter continues as both sides prepare for further legal proceedings linked to the film’s production and associated claims.
