Carly Rae Jepsen has confirmed the birth of her first child with husband Cole M.G.N, sharing the news in a personal update on March 17.

The singer, known for hits including “Call Me Maybe”, revealed that the couple welcomed their baby earlier this month, just four months after announcing her pregnancy in November. The announcement comes shortly after the pair married in October 2025 in New York City.

“Last two weeks have been the best of my life,” Carly wrote in a March 17 Instagram Story. “Welcome to the world little one.”

The accompanying image showed the newborn dressed in a green striped outfit and bonnet in a nod to St Patrick’s Day. Jepsen appeared smiling alongside the baby, wearing casual attire and bright accessories. She also included the song “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” by Frankie Valli as part of the post.

The couple first shared news of the pregnancy through a series of black-and-white photographs in November, captioned “Oh hi baby.” The announcement followed their wedding at the Chelsea Hotel, where they celebrated in an intimate ceremony.

Speaking previously about the occasion, Jepsen described the atmosphere as unexpectedly light. "Between the bright baby blue of the background, the wildflowers that surrounded us, and the intimate lighting, walking down the aisle felt like a fever dream.”

She added, “Nothing will top the moment when we first locked eyes, and to be honest, for the first half of the ceremony we couldn’t see anyone else.”

Jepsen and Cole Marsden Greif-Neill first met during a songwriting session in 2021 and began dating the following year, becoming engaged in September 2024.
