City sizzles in spring heat

The city experienced warm weather on Sunday as the maximum temperature increased by 3.2 degrees Celsius compared to the previous day, while slightly stronger winds than usual are expected today (Monday).
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department Early Warning Centre, hot and dry conditions prevailed in the city due to northwesterly winds blowing from Balochistan.
The minimum temperature recorded in the morning was 22.3°C, while the maximum temperature rose to 38.4°C - 3.2°C higher than the previous day. However, the heat was not considered extreme as humidity levels remained low at 13 per cent.
The weather department has forecast stronger-than-usual winds in the city on Monday, while partly cloudy conditions are expected on Tuesday.
