Three injured in motorcycle crash
Bikes involved in three out of four road accidents in Punjab

Three men were injured after a loader rickshaw collided with a motorcycle in Kahna. According to police, the accident occurred due alleged speeding by the rickshaw driver.
The victims were travelling from Kahna Kacha towards Engineers Town when the rickshaw hit their motorcycle.
Tariq, Danish, and Razzaq were shifted to a nearby hospital where their condition was reported to be out of danger.
Following the incident, Kahna police launched arrested the rickshaw driver, Allah Ditta. An investigation was underway.
Meanwhile, at least 16 people died, whereas 1,516 were injured in 1,331 road traffic crashes (RTCs) recorded across Punjab during the last 24 hours.
Of them, 669 people were shifted to hospitals, while 847 others were treated for minor injuries at the sites by Rescue Medical Teams.
As many as 75 per cent of the road accisents involved motorbikes. Official data showed 883 adult and 60 underage drivers, 171 pedestrians and 478 passengers were among the victims.
The statistics showed that 233 RTCs were reported in Lahore, which affected 274 persons, placing the provincial capital at top of the list. followed by 100 in Multan with 113 victims.
The data showed that 1,232 of the victims were male and 300 female, while 306 were under 18 years of age, 822 between 18 and 40 years and 404 above 40 years.
