Cross Fire: Robber killed, 4 injured from firing

Some robbers entered the house after scaling the boundary wall and held the family hostage at gunpoint.

ARIFWALA: A robber was killed while four family members were injured in cross fire near here on Saturday.  According to police, some robbers entered the house of Chak 50/SP resident Ali Sher after scaling the boundary wall and held the family hostage at gunpoint. Meanwhile, a family member resorted to firing in self defense. As a result, an unidentified robber received bullet injuries and died on the spot, while Ali Sher and his sons Saleem, Niaz Ahmed and Bashir Ahmed received bullet injuries. The injured have been admitted to the THQ hospital.
