Meticulously handcrafted PSL trophy showcases teamwork, passion, and Pakistani pride
Trophy crafted by 18 artisans using over 1,600 stones and precious metals with 2,600 hours of work

Hanif Jewellers has unveiled the meticulously handcrafted trophy for this year’s HBL Pakistan Super League, showcasing exceptional jewellry design and artisan craftsmanship.
The brand announced that the trophy is not only a symbol of victory but one that reflects the spirit and honour of the Pakistan Super League.
In order to symbolise the journey of destination, teamwork, and resilience, 18 master artisans from the House of Hanif came together to create the winning award.
The design is a masterpiece in itself; 8 cornered emerald cut stones representing the colours of the eight HBL PSL teams and the passionate fans who stand behind them.
The crescent and star embody hope, unity, and the pride of Pakistan. Dedicated to 2600 hours of craftsmanship, the Hanif team used precious metals including gold, silver, copper, and more than 1600 stones to bring this piece to life.
A video posted on their social media platforms shows the entire process: high-precision craftsmanship where designers begin by developing conceptual sketches and converting them into 3D models using computer aided designs. From the symbolic forms to the elegant curves, software and handwork is used to ensure structural balance and accurate placement of materials.
The shaping, casting, polishing, and placement of crystals by hand directly shows the hours of meticulous work and patience spent on the product.
In a video posted on Facebook, Hanif Jewellers CEO Zeeshan Hanif explained the craftsmanship. He first thanked the entire team of HBL PSL, which is being rebuilt with a new passion.
He shared that when they asked his team to make something extraordinary for this year's games, he knew that it had to be “out of the box.”
“You can see the round base at the bottom. In one place, all eight teams play together. For each team, we have given them their color. For example, Karachi is blue sapphires, Lahore is ruby, Multan is green and Peshawar Zalmi is yellow citron”. “Those teams gather together to rise high”, he said.
He further shared that he is glad they were able to design the trophy with so much fun and love and is looking forward to seeing all the teams put in the hard work to win it. “Cricket is in our blood. Our whole community is going to enjoy and appreciate it”, he said.
