Jelly Roll has revealed that he suffered a painful injury shortly before attending the 2026 Grammy Awards, but chose to keep it private at the time.
The “Save Me” singer shared in a recent Instagram video that he broke his collarbone earlier this year after flipping an ATV.
In the clip, the 41-year-old showed fans the vehicle involved in the crash along with an X-ray image of the injury and footage from the awards ceremony.
According to Jelly Roll, the accident left him shaken and initially afraid to get back on the ATV. He said he worried that delaying his return would only make the fear worse, so he eventually decided to ride the vehicle again after it was repaired.
Looking back, Jelly Roll admitted the night was far more painful than it appeared. The singer said that while greeting people and accepting hugs throughout the event, the pressure on his injured shoulder made him want to cry, though he chose not to reveal the injury at the time.
The musician has since recovered and said the experience reminded him how quickly accidents can happen, even during what should be celebratory moments in his career.
