'Bridesmaids' stars Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Rose Byrne and Maya Rudolph to reunite at the Oscars
Wiig, McCarthy, Rudolph and Byrne will share the stage nearly 15 years after the film released

A special Bridesmaids reunion is in the works for the 2026 Academy Awards, bringing several of the film’s biggest stars back together on one of Hollywood’s biggest stages.
Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Maya Rudolph and Rose Byrne are expected to reunite during the ceremony to celebrate the beloved comedy, which debuted in 2011 and became one of the defining comedies of the decade.
The reunion would mark nearly 15 years since the release of the Paul Feig-directed film, which followed Wiig’s character Annie as she struggles to keep her life together while serving as maid of honour for her best friend Lillian, played by Rudolph.
The movie was both a critical and commercial success and earned two Academy Award nominations in 2012, Best Supporting Actress for McCarthy and Best Original Screenplay for Wiig and Annie Mumolo.
The moment will also be particularly meaningful for Byrne, who heads into the 2026 Oscars as a first-time nominee for her performance in the film If I Had Legs I’d Kick You.
While details about the onstage segment remain under wraps, the reunion is expected to be one of several nostalgic and celebratory moments planned for the ceremony. The 98th Academy Awards will take place on March 15, 2026, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and will be hosted by Conan O’Brien.
For fans of the comedy classic, the reunion offers a rare chance to see several of the film’s iconic stars together again — a reminder of the lasting cultural impact Bridesmaids has had on modern comedy.
