‘The Boys’ trailer confirms long-awaited ‘Supernatural’ reunion

‘The Boys’ brings ‘Supernatural’ trio together after 5 years

Fans of Supernatural are finally getting the reunion they’ve been waiting for.

The trailer for the final season of The Boys confirms that Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, and Misha Collins share a scene together for the first time since the series ended in 2020.

Showrunner Eric Kripke, who created Supernatural, confirmed the moment in an interview with TV Insider, saying the three actors appear “in the same frame together, in the same storyline, and interacting with each other.”

The trailer briefly shows Padalecki in a tracksuit with Ackles’ Soldier Boy standing behind him, while another shot features Soldier Boy choking a character played by Collins. Their exact roles remain under wraps, though Padalecki has said he appears in Episode 5.

Kripke has steadily brought Supernatural alumni into The Boys, including Jim Beaver, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Rob Benedict.

Padalecki finally joined the series after his show Walker ended in 2024.

Season 5 premieres April 8 on Amazon Prime Video, with weekly episodes leading to the series finale on May 20.
