The highly anticipated British version of the iconic NBC sketch show is officially taking shape, with Comcast-owned Sky releasing the first teaser trailer for Saturday Night Live UK.

The 30-second trailer, which dropped on March 6, 2026, introduces the ensemble cast as they parade down a London street before entering a venue illuminated by a neon "Saturday Night Live UK" sign. "Live from London, it's Saturday night," a voiceover declares over "Go" by The Chemical Brothers. "The new faces of Saturday Night Live have arrived on Sky."

The confirmed cast members include Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi, and Paddy Young. The diverse lineup brings together established comedic talents and fresh faces for the British adaptation.

Plans for Saturday Night Live UK were officially confirmed in April 2025, with the six-episode first season set to premiere on Sky on March 21, 2026. Guest presenters are expected to be announced soon, with British tabloid The Sun reporting that former SNL star Tina Fey will host an episode. Sky has declined to comment on the speculation.

Saturday Night Live UK was commissioned by Edgar-Jones, Sky Commissioning Executive Lisa Clark, and Cecile Frot-Coutaz, CEO of Sky Studios & Chief Content Officer for Sky. Universal Television Alternative Studio's UK Productions is overseen by Managing Director Helen Kruger Bratt, with Shanna Baynard serving as Executive in Charge of Production.

The British adaptation marks the latest international expansion of the SNL franchise, bringing the beloved sketch comedy format to UK audiences later this month.
