Timothée Chalamet is expanding the global promotional push for his hit film Marty Supreme with a new Asia tour, bringing the movie’s energetic marketing campaign to Japan and China.

The actor revealed plans for the Asian leg of the tour as the film continues to perform strongly worldwide. Marty Supreme has already grossed around $172 million globally and is now aiming to cross the $200 million milestone at the box office.

Directed by Josh Safdie, the sports comedy-drama stars Chalamet as a swaggering New York table-tennis prodigy inspired by real-life player Marty Reisman. The film has been widely praised for Chalamet’s high-energy performance and has become one of A24’s biggest successes.

Chalamet’s promotional tour for the movie has been anything but traditional. The actor has been known for staging unusual and viral marketing moments throughout the campaign, turning the press run itself into a spectacle designed to grab fans’ attention.

With the Asia tour now underway, the film’s momentum shows little sign of slowing. Industry observers say the international push could help Marty Supreme continue its strong box-office streak and solidify its place as one of the year’s biggest independent film hits.
