Jamie Lee Curtis is weighing in on the rapid rise of artificial intelligence tools designed to simulate conversations with deceased loved ones, calling the development “all new and dangerous territory.”

Speaking to Variety, the Oscar-winning actress expressed concern about the ethical and emotional implications of so-called “grief tech,” which uses archived audio, video and written material to recreate a person’s voice or personality through AI.
