Fool-proof security planned for Ramazan 21

LAHORE:

The Punjab Home Department has issued comprehensive security guidelines to ensure strict law and order arrangements for the Youm-e-Shahadat of Ali ibn Abi Talib, to be observed on Ramazan 21, corresponding to Wednesday, March 11, 2026, with religious devotion across the province.

In a directive issued to all relevant authorities, the department ordered foolproof security measures for mourning processions, majalis and other religious gatherings being held in connection with the martyrdom anniversary.

Authorities have been instructed to enhance the deployment of police personnel at mosques.Igent.
