The investigation into the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, mother of Savannah Guthrie, entered its fifth week Tuesday as questions continue to swirl around the circumstances of her Feb. 1 abduction from her Tucson, Arizona home.
One of the key questions circulating online has been whether blood was discovered inside the residence. New York-based investigative reporter Michael Ruiz addressed the speculation directly on social media, responding “No” when asked if there had been confirmation of blood found inside the home.
Ruiz added that while there were blood drops reported on the front porch, Nancy was not located at the property. Her phone, watch and purse were still inside, and her car remained in the garage, details that have intensified concern surrounding the case.
Family members, including Savannah Guthrie and her sister Annie, were seen visiting the Tucson property this week, placing yellow flowers near a growing memorial display by the mailbox. Supporters have continued to leave tributes and messages of hope as the search efforts continue.
The investigation remains active, with the Pima County Sheriff's Department working alongside the Federal Bureau of Investigation. No suspects have been publicly named, and no arrests have been made.
Officials have said the case will continue to receive resources until Nancy Guthrie is located or all leads are exhausted.
