Jelly Roll was rushed to the hospital after flipping his ATV and breaking his collarbone in a terrifying crash that occurred back in January, just days before the 2026 Grammy Awards.
The 41-year-old country music star, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord, kept the accident a secret until this past weekend, when he shared details with fans on social media.
In an Instagram video posted Sunday, the "I Am Not Okay" singer showed himself standing beside his repaired ATV, revealing he had been afraid to ride it again after the January incident.
The "Son of a Sinner" singer admitted he thought he had "totaled" the four-wheeler, but one of his brothers got it fixed to "brand new." He shared X-ray images of his broken collarbone alongside photos of the damaged ATV and himself performing at the Grammys.
Despite suffering the painful injury, Jelly Roll attended the Grammy Awards 2026 and walked the red carpet with his wife of nearly 10 years, Bunnie Xo. He revealed that every hug that week caused him significant pain.
"I was just thinking, I was out there running all over the Grammys with a broken collarbone," he shared. "Every time I hugged somebody that week, I wanted to scream. I just didn't say it, but every time somebody squeezed me, dude, I thought I was gonna cry."
Jelly Roll went on to win three awards during the ceremony, including best contemporary country album for "Beautifully Broken."
His wife, Bunnie Xo, 46, also shared her own video showing Jelly Roll in a hospital bed wearing a neck brace. "This happened in January, worst phone call to ever get," she captioned her Instagram post. "But we got thru it thank goodness & he's healed completely."
