Olivia Dean won four prizes at the 2026 Brit Awards as the ceremony was held in Manchester for the first time in its nearly 50-year history.
The 26-year-old Londoner took home Best British Artist, beating fellow nominees including Lola Young, Dave and Sam Fender.
She also won Best Pop Act, Best Album for The Art of Loving, and Song of the Year for "Rein Me In," her collaboration with Fender, which is currently number one on the charts.
Holding back tears, Dean said, “This album is just about love and loving each other in a world that feels loveless.”
Earlier in the evening, she told the audience: “I don't know if I ever really thought I'd get one [a Brit award], but I did!”
Dean also performed Man I Need during the ceremony, which featured appearances from Harry Styles, Wolf Alice, Raye and Alex Warren. Robbie Williams closed the show with a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne alongside some of the late musician’s former bandmates.
Osbourne was awarded a posthumous lifetime achievement award, seven months after his death at the age of 76. His widow Sharon said he was proud to be a “working class Brummy”, adding: “He was the most humble egomaniac you could ever meet!”
Elsewhere, Rosalía became the first Brit winner recognised for music sung in a foreign language. In her acceptance speech, she said, “Let's keep celebrating the otherness. Let's keep celebrating different music, different cultures, different languages.”
Rosé became the first K-pop act to win an award, taking international song of the year for APT, her duet with Bruno Mars.
