League Two minnows Aldershot were handed a dream tie against Manchester United in the League Cup fourth-round draw. The chance to face Sir Alex Ferguson’s star-studded squad will be a mouth-watering prospect for Aldershot, who are managed by former Bolton and Wimbledon striker Dean Holdsworth. The Shots are currently 11th in League Two, English football’s lowest professional division, and have never before reached this stage of the competition. The draw produced five all-Premier League ties, with Wolves hosting Manchester City, Blackburn at home to Newcastle, Arsenal playing Bolton, Stoke entertaining Liverpool and Everton hosting Chelsea.
