Shakira set to perform at pyramids, Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabian Grand Prix

Colombian singer Shakira is set to return to Egypt for a one-night performance at the Pyramids of Giza on April 7, nearly 20 years after her last show at the historic site,it was annouced. The concert will be part of her “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” world tour, marking her first performance at the pyramids since 2007.
In addition to her Egypt stop, Shakira is scheduled to perform on April 19 during race weekend at the Formula One Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah. The event will feature other notable performers including Kygo and Pitbull. Earlier in the month, she will headline the Offlimits Music Festival in Abu Dhabi on April 4 at Etihad Park, topping the bill for the multi-stage, full-day festival.
Shakira, who has Lebanese heritage on her father’s side, is one of the most commercially successful Latin artists of all time. She has sold over 95 million records globally, earning four Grammy Awards and 15 Latin Grammy Awards, and is recognized as the most-streamed female Latin artist in history.
Her return to the UAE marks her fourth visit. She previously performed at the Dubai Autodrome in 2007, Emirates Palace in 2008, and du Arena in 2011. Last year’s Offlimits Music Festival featured headliners such as Ed Sheeran and performances by OneRepublic, Kaiser Chiefs, Faithless, ARTBAT, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, and Zeyne.
Shakira’s upcoming shows reflect both her enduring global popularity and her continued influence in Latin pop and international music markets. Fans in the Middle East are eagerly anticipating her performances, which are expected to draw large audiences in both Egypt and the Gulf region.
