Kim So Hyun and Song Kang in talks for new romance drama White Scandal

Kim So Hyun and Song Kang are reportedly in talks to star in a new romance drama titled White Scandal.

According to Sports Chosun and updates reported by S Nam, Kim So Hyun has received an offer to play Ji Eun Seol, a former child actress who rebuilds her career while entering a contractual relationship with Dan Yi Hyuk, the role being considered for Song Kang. Both actors would be reuniting for the first time in five years since starring together in Love Alarm.

The drama is adapted from a popular web novel and centers on Ji Eun Seol, who faced setbacks after taking responsibility for her older brother’s actions. She later meets Dan Yi Hyuk, a top South Korean star and NB Group’s illegitimate heir, with whom she enters a contractual arrangement while uncovering hidden truths.

PEACHY confirmed that Kim So Hyun is reviewing the role, while Namoo Actors said Song Kang is also considering the offer.

The series will be written by Kim Ga Eun, known for Call It Love, and directed by Kim Chul Gyu of Flower of Evil. Fans are eagerly anticipating this project as both actors have previously impressed with popular dramas including River Where the Moon Rises, My Lovely Liar, and Nevertheless.
