Jay Leno was spotted cruising through Los Angeles this week behind the wheel of a rare 1907 White Model G steam car, drawing attention as the brass-era vehicle chugged along city streets.
The 75-year-old former The Tonight Show host piloted the 30-horsepower touring car, built by the White Motor Company, which runs on a compound steam engine rather than gasoline.

Finished in green and black with polished brass trim, the open-air antique features three rows of seating and an upright windshield.
Of the roughly 9,000 White steam cars produced between 1900 and 1911, fewer than 170 are believed to survive worldwide, with about half housed in museums and the rest largely in private collections.
Leno, known for his extensive car collection, appeared relaxed as he navigated traffic despite past injuries, including serious burns from a 2022 garage fire and a motorcycle accident months later.
