A behind-the-scenes clip from the upcoming Gothic horror film The Dreadful is giving fans a hilarious glimpse into the making of the movie, showing Sophie Turner and Kit Harington “literally gagging” after filming a kissing scene.

The short video shared by Entertainment Tonight shows the pair leaning in for their on-screen kiss, and immediately afterward, both actors pull away, and pretending to retch. Crew members in the background can be heard chuckling at the unexpected moment, highlighting the lighthearted camaraderie between the longtime co-stars.

The moment is especially notable because Turner and Harington spent nearly a decade portraying siblings Sansa Stark and Jon Snow on Game of Thrones. Fans have found the shift to romantic co-stars both surprising and amusing, a sentiment reflected in the actors’ exaggerated reactions on set.

Directed by Natasha Kermani, The Dreadful is set in 15th-century England and follows Turner’s character as her life is disrupted by the return of a mysterious man from her past, played by Harington. The film reunites the actors in a darker, more intimate story, contrasting sharply with the sibling dynamic that made them household names.

Though the gagging was clearly in jest, the clip has quickly gone viral, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at how Turner and Harington balance on-screen intensity with off-screen humor. It’s a reminder that even in Gothic horror, a little laughter goes a long way.
