IHOP to give away free pancakes on March 3

IHOP will offer a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes on March 3 to mark National Pancake Day

IHOP is celebrating National Pancake Day 2026 by offering free pancakes to customers at participating locations across the United States.

The annual tradition, which draws breakfast lovers into the chain’s restaurants, will take place on March 3, 2026, with the complimentary offer available for one day only.

In an Instagram announcement, IHOP confirmed that guests can stop by from 7am to 8pm to receive a free short stack of its famous Buttermilk Pancakes. The post teased additional surprises for visitors on the day of the promotion.

As part of the event, IHOP is also encouraging customers to donate to Feeding America in restaurants on March 3.

According to the organization, every dollar donated helps provide at least ten meals through local partner food banks, supporting communities facing food insecurity.

National Pancake Day has become a hallmark event for IHOP, combining a celebration of its signature breakfast menu with a charitable initiative to benefit those in need.
