Amazon Prime Video has officially renewed the upcoming series Off Campus for a second season before the show’s highly anticipated debut.

According to Variety, Season 1 is scheduled to premiere in May 2026, with an exact release date expected to be announced soon.

Based on the bestselling book series by Elle Kennedy, Off Campus is described as a college-set romantic drama centered on an elite ice hockey team and the women connected to their lives. The story explores themes of love, heartbreak, friendship, and self-discovery as young adults navigate the challenges of growing up and forming lasting relationships.

The ensemble cast also includes Mika Abdalla, Antonio Cipriano, Josh Heuston, and Stephen Kalyn. Prime Video originally ordered the series in 2024, signaling early confidence in the adaptation and its built-in fan base.

Peter Friedlander, head of global television at Amazon MGM Studios, said the series delivers emotionally driven storytelling that resonates with audiences worldwide. He highlighted the strong source material, creative leadership, and cast chemistry as key reasons behind the early renewal.

The show was adapted for television by Louisa Levy, who serves as co-showrunner and executive producer alongside Gina Fattore. Additional executive producers include Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen, James Seidman, Leanna Billings, and Neal Flaherty.

With a second season already secured, Off Campus is shaping up to be a major addition to Prime Video’s lineup of young adult romance dramas.
