Lady Gaga’s fiancé Michael Polansky ‘doesn’t want to be her career manager’
He served as an executive producer on her latest album, 'MAYHEM', and contributed as a co-writer on several tracks

Lady Gaga’s fiancé Michael Polansky reportedly does not want to be viewed as the singer’s “career manager” despite his growing involvement in her music projects.
The venture capitalist and entrepreneur has played a significant role in Gaga’s recent creative output. He served as an executive producer on her latest album, MAYHEM, and contributed as a co-writer on several tracks, including “Disease”. His visible presence in her professional sphere has prompted speculation that he has taken on a managerial position.
However, a source told the Daily Mail, “It would appear that Michael is taking a managerial role with her career. But they don’t see it as that nor do they want that to be the case.” The source added, “They will work together. But he doesn’t want to be seen as a manager of her career.”
According to the insider, Polansky is comfortable being creatively involved but does not wish to redefine his role in Gaga’s professional life. “Being a contributor is fine,” the source said, before adding, “But at the end of the day, she is her own manager if anything.”
The same source commented on their relationship, stating, “It’s not often that you see a couple that reminds you of the movies. But that’s really their relationship at this moment.” They continued, “It’s wild to see that this can actually happen. As you’d only hope for this kind of love to happen to everyone.”
Another insider said, “Life is pretty good,” adding that the singer is “very happy” and that “Michael has been a very important reason that everything is so joyous now.”
Polansky’s involvement in MAYHEM marks a notable chapter in Gaga’s career, though sources maintain that creative collaboration does not equate to formal management.
