During a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan told guest Cheryl Hines that years ago, a former podcast guest attempted to connect him with Epstein. Rogan said he was immediately disturbed by the suggestion and declined.
“I’m in the files for not going because Jeffrey Epstein was trying to meet with me,” Rogan said, adding that after looking Epstein up online, there was “no possibility” he would attend any meeting.
Emails later released by the Department of Justice show Epstein reached out to theoretical physicist Lawrence Krauss in 2017 after seeing him on Rogan’s podcast. Epstein reportedly asked Krauss to help arrange an introduction, describing Rogan as “funny.” Krauss replied that he would try to connect them but later indicated the effort was unsuccessful.
Rogan’s comments resurfaced amid renewed attention on DOJ and FBI document releases related to Epstein. While the files detail Epstein’s communications and financial records, investigators have said they found no verified “client list” and insufficient evidence to charge additional high-profile individuals.
Epstein, who was accused of sexually abusing underage girls, was arrested in 2019 and later died in jail. The case continues to draw scrutiny as more documents become public.
