PMD forecasts dry weather and cool nights in Karachi division

Dry weather with cool nights is expected to continue across Karachi division over the next three days, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
In its latest forecast issued on Sunday, the PMD said minimum temperatures are likely to range between 12 and 15 degrees Celsius during the period, while maximum temperatures may rise from 26–28°C on Sunday to as high as 30°C by Tuesday.
The forecast indicates that nights will remain cool, while daytime temperatures are expected to gradually increase.
Morning humidity levels are projected to decline from around 83 per cent on Sunday to between 55 and 65 per cent by Tuesday, with evening humidity falling to as low as 20 per cent.
Winds are expected to blow mainly from the east and north-east, with a temporary shift towards west or south-westerly directions at times, the department said.
The PMD added that no rainfall is expected during the forecast period, with dry conditions prevailing over most parts of the province.

According to the PMD, cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country on Sunday, while very cold conditions are likely to persist in the mountainous regions.
However, partly cloudy to overcast skies are forecast for Gilgit-Baltistan, upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and northern Balochistan, with light rain and light snowfall in a few areas.
The PMD said cold weather with partly cloudy skies is expected in and around Islamabad. Most districts of Punjab to experience cold and dry conditions.
Most districts of K-P are likely to remain cold and dry, while very cold and partly cloudy conditions are expected in the hilly areas. Light rain and light snowfall may occur at a few places in Chitral, Dir, Kohistan, Kalam, Swat, Kurram and Waziristan.

Most districts of Sindh are expected to experience cold and dry weather. In Balochistan, cold conditions with partly cloudy skies are likely in most areas.
Kashmir is expected to remain very cold and overcast, with the possibility of rain and snowfall. In Gilgit-Baltistan, very cold and cloudy weather is forecast, with light rain and light snowfall expected at a few locations.
