Victoria Beckham is reportedly struggling with fresh tension involving her former Spice Girls bandmate, Mel C, as the public fallout with her son, Brooklyn, continues.

Sources claim the fashion designer felt wounded after Mel C discussed raising her own child away from the spotlight and said she parents “very differently.”

The family drama began when Brooklyn went public about difficulties with his parents, alleging they were controlling and had interfered in his relationship with his wife, Nicola.

He also claimed his mother danced inappropriately with him at his wedding. The remarks sparked widespread reaction, with reports suggesting different figures close to the family have taken sides.

According to journalist Rob Shuter, Mel C’s recent comments were interpreted by Victoria as criticism.

Speaking about her approach to motherhood, Mel C said, “Obviously, I have friends who handle it very differently, each to their own, no judgment at all. But for me, probably because of my experiences with fame, I didn’t feel comfortable making that decision for her.”

One insider told Shuter, “What Mel said may be true, but it absolutely did not need to be said right now.” Another source added, “Victoria took it as judgment — public judgment — during one of the most painful moments of her life. She is livid.”

Reports suggest the disagreement could affect long-discussed plans for a Spice Girls reunion. “This just made everything worse,” a source said.

“Any hope of a reunion tour is basically frozen.” Another insider commented, “Victoria holds grudges. This didn’t just hurt her personally — it embarrassed her professionally.”

Those close to Mel C insist there was no intention to cause harm. “Her intentions weren’t malicious,” one source explained. “But intention doesn’t matter when the impact is this explosive.”

Friends of the group previously claimed the band supported Victoria. “The girls just want Victoria to know she’s not alone,” a music industry insider said. “This is sisterhood in sequins.”
