Kendall Jenner and Devin Booker have drawn attention online after exchanging playful comments following the model’s Super Bowl advert for Fanatics Sportsbook.

The 30-year-old supermodel appeared in a Super Bowl spot that lightly referenced her dating history with NBA players, prompting a response from Booker, her former partner. The Phoenix Suns guard commented on an Instagram post shared by Fanatics chief executive Michael Rubin on January 29, writing, “I bet a million the Seahawks get that ring before you do @kendalljenner 🤗.”

Jenner replied with a teasing remark of her own, referencing Booker’s recent injury. “@dbook 🙄 how’s the ankle?” she wrote, alluding to the right ankle sprain he sustained during the Suns’ recent loss to the Atlanta Hawks. Booker, who is expected to miss at least a week of play, responded, “@kendalljenner come rub it.”

Jenner and Booker were first linked in 2020 and confirmed their relationship publicly in 2021. After briefly separating in mid-2022, they ultimately split later that year. Their recent interaction follows the release of Jenner’s first-ever Super Bowl commercial, titled Bet on Kendall, which pokes fun at the long-running internet joke known as the “Kardashian Kurse.”

In the advert, Jenner addresses the idea directly, saying, “Any basketball player who dates me, kind of hits a rough patch.” She adds, “While the world’s been talking about it, I’ve been betting on it. How else do you think I can afford all this… modelling!?” The commercial ends with Jenner announcing a shift in focus, stating, “But today, it’s time to bet on something new. Football players.”

The campaign also references Jenner’s past relationships with NBA players including Jordan Clarkson, Blake Griffin and Ben Simmons. The exchange with Booker has since fuelled speculation among fans, though neither has commented beyond their brief online banter.
