Eduardo Franco has revealed a significant physical transformation after undergoing an intensive training programme for an upcoming film role.

The 31-year-old actor, best known for playing Argyle in Stranger Things season 4, shared an Instagram video documenting his fitness journey and the changes to his physique. Franco explained that the transformation began after he secured a new acting job that required him to appear shirtless early in the film.

“On July 14th, I got the word that I got this job. The script’s first scene, where my character appears in, is in the very beginning of the movie and my character is shirtless. I said, ‘Well, I’d like to look as lean as possible for that scene,’” he said in the video.

“It was super dope,” Franco added, reflecting on the experience and the results achieved over the training period.

While Franco did not disclose details about the film he is preparing for, he noted that the role motivated him to approach fitness with a new level of discipline. His transformation drew praise from fans and colleagues alike, with Stranger Things co-stars Finn Wolfhard and Caleb McLaughlin among those who commented on his post to congratulate him.

In addition to his breakout role on the Netflix series, Franco has appeared in a range of film and television projects including American Vandal, Booksmart and Y2K.
