An awareness campaign on dengue virus has been launched by students Riphah International University and Islamic International Medical College in Rawalpindi.
The campaign aims to educate people on dengue fever, precautionary measures and treatment. In the first phase, Assistant Professor of Medicine Dr Waseem Ghani visited Government Girls College Dhoke Hassau, Rawalpindi, and delivered a lecture on dengue fever awareness and preventive measures. Later the students distributed pamphlets on the campaign.
On the other hand, the number of patients affected by dengue virus has climbed to 126 in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, out of which five have died, according to latest reports.
