Spring plantation drive from Feb 15
Target of planting one million saplings has once again been set for the Rawalpindi

The Forest Department will launch the first spring tree plantation campaign of the new year 2026 on February 15, which will continue until April 30.
Under the new plantation campaign, a ban has been imposed on planting any new Miyawaki technique-based forests.
According to the Forest Department, on government directions, no new Miyawaki forest has been planted during the past three years.
During the spring plantation campaign, a target of planting one million saplings has once again been set for the Rawalpindi.
