Zendaya has offered a rare glimpse into her personal life with fiancé Tom Holland, revealing how the couple balances careers and privacy while dividing their time between the U.S. and the U.K.
In a new interview with the Daily Mirror, the 29-year-old actress praised Holland, calling him her “favorite person to work with” and highlighting his calming presence on set.
The pair first met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016, confirming their relationship in 2021. While filming, Zendaya noted that working alongside her partner has been a positive experience rather than an awkward one. “He has this huge calming presence that not only puts me at ease but also everybody he works with,” she said.
Zendaya and Holland are intentional about protecting their private life, balancing normal activities such as dining out with the demands of fame. Zendaya spends time between her longtime California home and Holland’s residence in Richmond, West London, where she has grown fond of British life. She humorously admitted some cultural quirks, joking about Jaffa Cakes while praising the quality of Indian food in the U.K.
The actress also reflected on starting her career young, crediting her parents for helping her navigate early fame and maintain perspective.
Fans can look forward to seeing the couple together onscreen in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, releasing July 17, and the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day on July 31. Zendaya’s insights underscore the balance of personal life, professional partnerships, and international living that comes with being a leading star in Hollywood.
