Pakistan, Saudi Arabia reaffirm cooperation

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening institutional cooperation and advancing shared priorities through close coordination between technical teams.
According to the Ministry of Finance, Federal Minister for Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb met Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih to review ways to further strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed bilateral investment and assessed the progress of ongoing projects. The Saudi leadership expressed confidence in the investment opportunities available in Pakistan.
The statement said the two sides reaffirmed their resolve to expand institutional cooperation and agreed to promote joint priorities through sustained engagement between technical teams. Emphasis was placed on injecting fresh momentum into the Pakistan-Saudi economic partnership.
It was also decided to further strengthen high-level engagements and deepen mutual trust between the two countries. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, where Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb took stock of ongoing cooperation with the Saudi minister.
