Dr Pepper uses viral TikTok “Good and Nice” jingle in College Football Playoff ad

TikToker Romeo reacted after Dr Pepper featured her viral “Good and Nice” jingle

A TikTok creator has responded after beverage brand Dr Pepper incorporated her viral “Good and Nice” jingle into a nationally broadcast commercial, marking a major milestone for the online trend.

According to reports, the jingle was created by TikToker Romeo, who posts under the handle @romeosshow. In a video shared on December 23, Romeo suggested a lighthearted new slogan for Dr Pepper, singing a short tune that described the soft drink as both “good and nice.” The clip quickly gained traction on TikTok, eventually amassing nearly 32 million views.

As the jingle spread across the platform, other creators began remixing the original audio, adding basslines and alternative versions. The trend ultimately caught the attention of Dr Pepper, which later used the jingle in an official commercial aired during the College Football Playoff final between Miami and Indiana. The brand credited Romeo’s original audio in the advertisement.

Viewers quickly took to social media to share their reactions after the commercial aired on national television. Romeo also posted a response video, jokingly delivering a mock acceptance speech while thanking supporters and Dr Pepper fans for helping the moment come together.

“I’m usually silly, and I know this is silly, but I really am genuinely thankful,” Romeo said in her response, expressing appreciation for those who supported the jingle’s rise from TikTok to television.

Following the ad’s broadcast, many social media users congratulated Romeo while also questioning whether she received financial compensation for the commercial. Several commenters encouraged her to collaborate with other brands in the future. Romeo responded to some of the speculation by telling followers to “stay tuned.”

Dr Pepper has not publicly commented on the terms of its use of the jingle. The moment highlights the growing influence of viral TikTok content on major brand advertising campaigns.
