Life is Strange: Reunion is set to launch on March 26 for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC, marking the return of Max Caulfield and Chloe Price in a new entry that concludes their long-running story.
According to Square Enix, the game reunites the two characters under circumstances shaped by past choices, with players guiding them as co-leads for the first time in the series.
Life is Strange: Reunion follows events linked to Caledon University and builds on narrative threads established across earlier titles, including Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Double Exposure.
Max once again has access to her ability to rewind time, allowing players to revisit conversations, uncover hidden truths and navigate dangerous situations.
The game introduces new mechanics tied to her powers, including the ability to remain within moments captured in photographs, opening alternative paths through the story.
Despite her growing control, the limits and consequences of Max’s abilities remain central to the narrative.
Chloe returns as an equally playable protagonist, now working as a touring band manager. While she no longer belongs to the university setting, her independence allows her to access locations, people and information unavailable to Max.
Life is Strange: Reunion also features returning characters from Double Exposure, alongside new faces connected to the events at Caledon.
Square Enix describes the game as a definitive conclusion to Max and Chloe’s journey, designed for long-time fans while remaining accessible to new players.
Life is Strange: Reunion releases on March 26.
