Nicola Peltz’s tattoo post sparks renewed attention amid Brooklyn Beckham family rift

Nicola Peltz shares tattoo post interpreted as symbolic as Brooklyn Beckham publicly distances himself from parents

Nicola Peltz has drawn fresh attention to her ongoing tensions with Brooklyn Beckham’s family after sharing a social media post that some observers view as pointed, according to reports.

On Sunday, the actress posted a mirror selfie on Instagram wearing a blue bikini top, prominently revealing a tattoo on her ribcage. While the tattoo is not new, its visibility in the post has been interpreted by some as symbolic given the current family conflict. As previously reported by the Daily Mail, the Yiddish inscription is said to translate to “family first.” Peltz and her brother, Will Peltz, reportedly share the same tattoo.

The post appeared shortly before Brooklyn Beckham published a strongly worded statement on Instagram addressing his strained relationship with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham. In the message, the 26-year-old said he does not wish to reconcile at this time and claimed he has long felt his parents controlled the public narrative surrounding their family. He added that he is “standing up for” himself, denying claims that he is being influenced by others.

Page Six has previously reported that sources close to the situation allege Peltz, 31, has continued to contribute to the ongoing rift. According to an insider cited by the outlet, recent actions—such as Brooklyn blocking his family on social media—have reignited tensions after a period in which the situation appeared to have calmed.

The estrangement has reportedly escalated to the point where Brooklyn has asked his parents to communicate with him only through legal representatives. Peltz has also deleted photos of the Beckham family from her social media accounts, including past posts celebrating Victoria Beckham.

Despite the conflict with Brooklyn’s family, both he and Peltz are said to remain close to her relatives. The couple, who married in April 2022, frequently spend time with Peltz’s parents and siblings, according to social media posts.

Separately, Peltz recently shared a tribute to her mother, Claudia Heffner Peltz, praising her support and expressing gratitude for her presence in her life. The post underscored the actress’s strong ties to her own family amid the continued public fallout involving the Beckhams.

Representatives for the Beckham family and Peltz have not publicly commented further on the matter.
