The Kid LAROI seen kissing Sophie HM in New York after reported Tate McRae split

The Kid LAROI has been photographed sharing public displays of affection with Sophie HM during an outing in New York City, months after reports that he and Tate McRae ended their relationship.

Images captured on Friday show the rapper and the model walking together through the city while dressed in winter clothing.

In the photographs, The Kid LAROI is seen leaning in to kiss Sophie HM on the side of her head, with his arm wrapped around her back as they move along the street. Other images show the pair walking slightly apart at times, both using their phones during the outing.

The appearance comes after reports that The Kid LAROI and McRae split over the summer. McRae later addressed the breakup publicly around the release of her song TIT FOR TAT, which followed The Kid LAROI’s track A COLD PLAY. The songs were widely interpreted by listeners as reflecting their experiences following the end of the relationship.

In December, McRae spoke to Rolling Stone about how both artists approach writing music after their split. “What I’ve had to realise is that he’s going to write songs and I’m going to write songs, and that’s our way of expressing ourselves. That’s our art, that’s our job. And once it’s out there, it’s not mine anymore,” she said.

More recently, McRae has been seen spending time with New Jersey Devils player Jack Hughes, which has prompted speculation online about a possible new relationship. Neither McRae nor Hughes has commented publicly on the nature of their interactions.

The Kid LAROI has not made a public statement about his relationship status, but the New York outing suggests he has moved on since the reported breakup.
