Pamela Anderson has spoken out about an awkward moment at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards, revealing she felt uncomfortable sitting near Seth Rogen due to his involvement in the controversial Hulu series Pam and Tommy. The series, which dramatized the theft and release of her private sex tape with then-husband Tommy Lee, has long been a sore subject for Anderson, who says she was not consulted on the project and felt it exploited a painful chapter of her life.

Talking with Andy Cohen on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy, Anderson said she was struck by how close she and Rogen ended up at the awards show and that the experience “felt a little yucky.” Reflecting on the situation, she explained, “Seth Rogen… he did Pam and Tommy without talking to me. I just felt like ugh. How can someone make a TV series out of difficult times in your life? And I am a living, breathing human being over here.”

Anderson described how seeing Rogen at the event made her feel unsettled: “He was in the pit at the Golden Globes. We were close. I felt like I’m not chopped liver over here. I felt weird about it… I’ve been so busy working. I’ve done five movies in the last year. Sometimes it hits you and you feel kind of down.” She added, “It just felt a little yucky.”

Despite the discomfort, Anderson said she chose not to confront Rogen in person at the ceremony, but admitted she imagined telling him exactly how she felt, “I didn’t make a beeline for him but in my mind I did. I really told him how I felt.”

Anderson also addressed the broader issue of public privacy, noting that while celebrities are often seen as “free game,” there should be boundaries around dramatizing deeply personal experiences. “When you are a public person, they say you have no right to privacy. But your darkest, deepest secrets or tragedies in your life shouldn’t be fair game for a TV series. That pissed me off a little bit,” she said.

Looking backward at the encounter, Anderson said she hopes Rogen might one day reach out to apologise, “eventually, hopefully, he will reach out to me to apologize, not that it matters”, though she acknowledged that such an apology may not change much for her personally.

The comments illustrate how unresolved feelings about Pam and Tommy continue to affect Anderson, even as she enjoys new creative success and recognition in her career.
