Pakistan have a star studded line up with with Umar Gul, Shoaib Akhtar, Mohammad Aamer, Abdul Razzaq, Saeed Ajmal and Shahid Afridi in the attack.


The last time both sides met, was in the semis of the tournament, where Australia clinched victory by 3 wickets.

Pakistan and Australia have played each other five times in the T20 format, with Australia leading the count with 3-2.

The first T20 to be played between the two was in the first ever T20 World Cup in 2007, where Pakistan came out victorious against the Australians, with 6 wickets intact.
