Pete Davidson to host new Netflix video podcast debuting January 30
Pete Davidson is launching a weekly Netflix video podcast featuring candid conversations with celebrity friends

Pete Davidson is expanding his partnership with Netflix with the launch of a new video podcast titled The Pete Davidson Show, set to premiere in the United States on January 30.
The series will stream weekly and marks another step in Netflix’s growing investment in original podcast content.
According to Netflix, The Pete Davidson Show will feature the comedian sitting down with well-known friends for informal, wide-ranging conversations filmed from the comfort of his garage. The format is designed to offer a relaxed and personal setting, leaning into Davidson’s candid comedic style and reputation for open discussion.
Davidson, a former Saturday Night Live cast member, said returning to Netflix felt like a natural move. In a statement, he noted that the platform was home to one of his earliest stand-up specials and described the podcast as an extension of conversations he already has with friends. He emphasized that the show will focus on humor, honesty, and unscripted dialogue rather than a rigid interview format.
The podcast will be produced by Marc Lieberman, president of Above Average, alongside Ayala Cohen, both of whom have ties to SNL. Direction duties will be handled by Sarah Brennan Kolb. Davidson has previously collaborated with Netflix on two stand-up specials, Alive From New York (2020) and Turbo Fonzarelli (2024), strengthening his ongoing relationship with the streamer.
The Pete Davidson Show arrives as Netflix continues to push deeper into the podcast and video podcast space. In recent months, the company has partnered with major media brands including iHeartMedia, Barstool Sports, Spotify Studios, and The Ringer to bring popular podcast properties to its platform. Notable titles include The Breakfast Club, My Favorite Murder, and Pardon My Take.
Netflix recently announced additional podcast projects, including a sports-focused video podcast hosted by former NFL star Michael Irvin. With Davidson’s new show, Netflix aims to further compete with platforms like YouTube by blending celebrity-driven content with on-demand streaming.
