IHC suspends verdict in abduction case

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday suspended a single-bench judgment in a case concerning the alleged abduction of two minor girls and their mother from Lahore and Bahawalpur, issuing notices to the parties and seeking their replies.
A division bench comprising Chief Justice Sarfraz Dogar and Justice Azam Khan suspended the earlier judgment relating to a financial dispute involving former PIA CEO Musharraf Rasool, and citizens Waqas Ahmed and Suhail Aleem.
The division bench also suspended the orders directing the cancellation of an FIR registered at Tarnol Police Station against Waqas Ahmed and Suhail Aleem, action against the police, and the imposition of a Rs100,000 fine on the investigating officer.
