Suspected militants detonated a remote-controlled bomb in the Ghundi area of Quetta as a paramilitary convoy passed by, damaging a vehicle and wounding two troops, police said on Friday.
The injured men have been taken to a nearby hospital and are undergoing treatment.
Security forces have cordoned off the area and investigation into the incident is underway.
Both local and Taliban militants have been blamed for such attacks in the province which shares borders with Afghanistan and Iran.
