Brazilian football star Neymar has added a striking piece of movie history to his personal collection, becoming the owner of a full-scale replica of the Batmobile used in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy, according to reports shared on January 8.

The Batmobile replica is reported to have cost approximately £1.3 million and took close to three years to complete. Around 50 specialists were involved in the build, producing a screen-accurate version that closely matches the vehicle featured in the Dark Knight films. While fully detailed, the replica is not street-legal and is intended strictly as a collector’s display piece.

After its completion, the vehicle was transported from the Dream Car Museum near São Paulo to Neymar’s private garage. It now forms part of a broader collection that reflects his preference for rare, custom-built vehicles rather than traditional supercars.

Neymar’s fascination with Batman has been public for several years. He attended the Paris premiere of The Batman in 2022, where he interacted with cast members Robert Pattinson and Zoë Kravitz. The Batmobile joins other Batman-themed assets in his collection, including a helicopter often referred to as the “Batcopter” and a matte-black private jet.

The helicopter is reportedly valued at around $14 million, while Neymar’s Dassault Falcon 900LX private jet is estimated to be worth roughly $50 million. Combined, the Batman-inspired portion of his collection alone is believed to total approximately $65 million, underscoring the scale of the footballer’s investment in both pop culture and luxury aviation.
