Parvez Elahi summoned in corruption case

An accountability court on Thursday summoned former Punjab chief minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and other accused for reframing of charges in a corruption and kickbacks reference related to Gujrat development projects.

Accountability Court Judge Rana Muhammad Arif conducted the proceedings. Former principal secretary to chief minister Punjab Muhammad Khan Bhatti, along with other co-accused, appeared before the court.

During the proceedings, copies of the supplementary reference were provided to the two new accused.
