Red Dead Redemption 2 Online releases free January 2026 DLC with limited-time missions
Rockstar Games has released a new free content update for Red Dead Redemption 2 Online, introducing a month-long set of missions, bonuses and limited-time rewards for January 2026.
The update is now live and will run until February 2, offering players additional incentives to return to the game’s online mode.
From January 6 through February 2, players can take part in new and returning bounty missions, alongside temporary boosts to in-game currency and experience.
During this period, turning in Regular Bounties awards three times the usual RDO$, Role XP and XP, while Legendary and Infamous Bounties grant double RDO$, Gold and XP.
Players who successfully complete a Legendary Bounty can unlock the Harshaw Gauntlets, while Bounty Hunters ranked 25 or higher who log in during January can receive the Clairborn Coat.
Rockstar has also introduced rotating weekly rewards throughout the update window. Between January 6 and 12, completing three Bounty Missions grants access to a reward for the San Luis Shore Treasure Map. From January 13 to 19, finishing all Bounty Hunter Daily Challenges unlocks an offer for 40 per cent off an Established or Distinguished Bounty Hunter Role Item.
Between January 20 and 26, completing three Bounty Missions provides an offer for 50 per cent off a weapon. From January 27 until February 2, players ranked 50 or higher can log in to receive the beige Torranca Coat.
Limited-time clothing items have also been added to the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. catalogue during January, including the Gator Hat, Strickland Boots, Tied Pants, Irwin Coat, Clymene Coat and Shaffer Chaps.
In addition, the Manhunt and Day of Reckoning multiplayer events are offering triple RDO$ and XP until February 2, with a special charm awarded to players who participate in either event during the month.
