Flo Rida and Kesha have performed their 2009 hit “Right Round” together live for the first time, nearly 17 years after the song topped charts around the world.

The long-awaited joint performance took place at an Amazon-sponsored event in Las Vegas, marking the first occasion the two artists have shared the stage for the track despite its lasting popularity. Flo Rida regularly includes “Right Round” in his live shows, but Kesha had never previously joined him for a performance.

Following the event, Flo Rida shared footage of the moment on Instagram, expressing surprise at how long it took for the collaboration to happen. “It’s unbelievable that @kesha and I never performed #rightround together! A song that was number 1 for 6 weeks yet somehow we never got a chance to perform it live until tonight!” he wrote. “It was so much fun to finally perform our song together #Legend.”

Released in 2009, “Right Round” served as the debut single from Flo Rida’s second studio album R.O.O.T.S and marked Kesha’s first major release. Despite early criticism of its lyrical themes, the song proved to be a major commercial success, reaching the top ten in 19 countries. In the United States, it became Flo Rida’s second number one single and remained at the top of the charts for six weeks.

Both artists remain active in their careers. Flo Rida continues to balance music with business ventures, while Kesha released her latest album Period last July and is preparing for an upcoming world tour.
