Beef season 2 release date revealed with new star-studded cast
Netflix confirms Beef season 2 will premiere April 16, with a new cast led by Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny

Netflix has officially announced the release date for Beef Season 2, confirming that the Emmy-winning anthology series will return on April 16, 2026.
The announcement was made as part of Netflix’s broader 2026 content slate, which also previewed upcoming seasons of Bridgerton, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and other high-profile titles.
The second season of Beef introduces a largely new cast and storyline, continuing the show’s anthology format. Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny star as a young couple employed at an exclusive country club. Their lives take a dramatic turn after they witness a disturbing altercation between their boss and his wife, played by Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan. The cast also includes Oscar winner Yuh-Jung Youn and Parasite star Song Kang-ho.
According to Netflix, Beef Season 2 will explore power dynamics, manipulation, and moral compromise within the elite environment of a country club owned by a Korean billionaire. The season will consist of eight 30-minute episodes.
Series creator Lee Sung Jin returns as showrunner and executive producer. Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, who starred in the first season, remain involved as executive producers alongside Jake Schreier, Kitao Sakurai, Ethan Kuperberg, and Anna Moench. Isaac, Mulligan, Melton, and Spaeny also serve as executive producers. The series is produced by A24.
Beef returns more than three years after its first season debuted to critical acclaim, earning multiple Emmy Awards and widespread praise for its performances and storytelling. While originally billed as a limited series, Lee Sung Jin previously indicated plans to expand the show into an anthology, which was officially confirmed in October 2024.
Netflix also revealed that Virgin River Season 7 will premiere March 12, while Sweet Magnolias Season 5 arrives June 11.
