Man arrested for filming women in hospital washroom

Police have arrested a man for secretly recording videos of women inside a washroom at a government hospital located in the Cantt police station area and recovered his mobile phone containing the footage.
According to the police, two videos of women were found on the mobile phone. The suspect was handed over to the police along with the device.
CGH Hospital security supervisor Noman Mazhar told police that while on duty, he heard noise coming from the women’s washroom area. Upon checking, an unidentified woman outside the washroom reported that someone had recorded a video or taken pictures of her using a mobile phone from the adjacent washroom.
When the washroom door was knocked, a man later identified as Muhammad Khalid came out holding a mobile phone. Upon checking the phone, objectionable videos of two women were found. The suspect was immediately apprehended and handed over to the police along with the phone.
Police have registered a case against the accused under sections 292 and 509 of the Pakistan Penal Code and launched an investigation.
SP Talha Wali said that violence or harassment against women and children is intolerable and assured that the accused would be awarded exemplary punishment.
